Born in 1999 in West Bromwich,UK. Birmingham based artist, Amber Hall developed a passion in art from a young age and always knew she wanted a job in the future which revolved around the subject. She has studied the subject as a GCSE, A-Level and further continued this in university by taking a undergraduate Fine Art degree at Birmingham School of Art.

Her studies in university focused her interests around social media, body image and self portraiture. She has been fascinated by social media and the effects it has on body image over the current years. Her current project is focusing on selfies and how they become a way of connecting people together.

"I have always been captivated by social media and the impacts it has within society, whether its the positives or negatives the idea of creating artwork on the subject excites me".

Amber's work comes in many different forms varying from drawing, painting and collages. She often enjoys doing commissioned pieces of artwork in her spare time as well, which usually consists of coloured pencil crayon pieces of family portraits. The mediums she specialises in the most are coloured pencil crayons, water colour and acrylic paint. Her work is created in a subtle way in order to have a hyper realistic feel to her work. She has also began to experiment with larger sized acrylic canvas pieces.
